I'm bored out of my head this morning. I have a few things I could do, but none are pressing, and I'm lacking motivation. Plus, I think my weird stomach ailment has returned. Ick.

Got my thyroid test back in the mail yesterday and got the all-clear from my doctor. I should be relieved, but I was utterly convinced that this was responsible for several general "ailments" (like requiring an exhorbitant amount of sleep to function) but I guess I'll have to go find some other reason for that. :-)

I shouldn't have worn short sleeves to work today. It's cold in here, and that's just making me want to curl into a little ball all the more!

I know I said I'd never watch reality TV, but I am happy that the right guy won The Apprentice last night. Bill was my pick for the past few weeks now. And he picked the cool project too. Yay. Despite the fact I have little interest in the corporate world, I kind of wished I'd applied for the second season, if only so I could be cast as the anti-corporate invader. I wouldn't win, but I'd have a lot of fun living in New York for a few weeks.

I think I need to say something to my newest neighbor about a cigarette issue. I've said hi to her a few times when she's been outside smoking (we're not allowed to smoke indoors, according to our leases) but she's usually on the phone, so we've never really introduced ourselves. I was waiting on that until I said anything about this, but I might not be able to. I have no problem with the smoking outside in and of itself, but she's leaving her cigarette butts on the stoop. Not in a container, just on the stoop. And now they're starting to get tracked other places. Not to mention that there are a lot of people who let their cats out in the neighborhood during the day. I don't mind the smell of a freshly lit cigarette, but a pile of butts that's been rained on for a week is stinky. I may give it a few more days to see if my landlord shows up this weekend to work on the patio. She'll definitely say something. I thought about sneaking a little bucket of sand onto her stoop to use as an ashtray, but I'm not sure that would solve things. We might just end up with a bucket of mud & cigarettes.
