pixiecrinkle: (looking up)

Sigh. I began my day by waking up late, having a terrible time getting my contacts in, then pouring sea salt into my purse as I was leaving. Then I got to work, and the guys over the cube wall were discussing one of the most pressing issues of our day: exactly how many episodes of South Park can you fit on your TiVo at one time?

The day has improved somewhat though. I have gotten lots done, and I'm getting good, constructive feedback from the user group I'm working with. They were the ones making impossible demands of me about 6 months ago, and being generally snarky toward me for no reason. This is good.

I do still think that people think I have something odd going on. I haven't found a way to successfully do a sea salt soak for my nose without someone cocking an eyebrow at my preparations in the bathroom. I think they think I'm doing coke, because I walk in with a little container of white powdery stuff, and walk out with my nose all red and shiny.

And so far, it's a bit warmer, and there's no sign of rain, so hockey should be more "normal" tonight. Hooray.

[livejournal.com profile] yerpretty--I'm not sure if I'll be at Skully's this evening or not. I got a little toasty there last night, and I have homework to do for my class, so I'll see how it works out.
