Sunburn sucks. Why didn't I go inside? (Didn't want to be seen as antisocial.) Why didn't I wear sunscreen? (Just flat out forgot.)

My shoulders hurt. I'm pouting.

here's a tip. I know it sounds strange.

Milk of Magnesia (or Mylanta, or most other liquid antacids) put on a sunburn will neutralize the acid in the skin and it won't hurt anymore.

Seriously. Try it. :)

I game for that. Do you just apply it to the skin like lotion?

As I recall, the last time we used it, we just put it on the surface, like you would calamine lotion, without rubbing it in.

Thanks! I'm going to run down to the pharmacy at lunch I think. Everyone who walks by my desk is commenting on the pinkness of my skin anyway, so adding a coat of white isn't going to attract any more attention! :-)
