My subconscious is weird.

Wacky dreams again last night. I don't know why I keep dreaming about my home town. These are both really cloudy, but I'll try to reconstruct.

I don't remember the beginning of this one. At some point, I was standing on the side of one of the baseball diamonds we played little league on. [livejournal.com profile] automat76 was there, and the boyfriend of one of the twins(D.), and some other random people. We were apparently in high school and holdng class here. D was standing at home plate giving a speech (book report?) when [livejournal.com profile] automat76 turned to me and said "I figured there would be monkeys here." I turned to look and saw an apartment building in the woods, and there was indeed a small monkey in the window waving at us. At this point, what seemed to be a large gorilla came out of the brush and ran at us. We all scattered, and it went straight for D, who was laughing hysterically. Somehow, some sort of large cat appeared, and the gorilla started wresting it. Then their heads fell off, revealing that they were actually men in costumes. At this point, we became bored and left.

This dream consisted of a large group of people going through the line at a Pondarosa steak house. My boss was there, and was supposedly buying us all dinner as a celebration for a project. Most of the web developers were there, but there were also a lot of people from my high school who I went to 4-H camp with. Somehow, I got caught in the line and they couldn't figure out how much my meal was, so it was about 20 minutes before I got to sit down to eat. This made my boss very upset, but with me, rather than the cashiers, and he yelled at me. Everyone else was over the top happy, and I just felt I didn't want to be there. I also didn't understand why the cook insisted on covering my salmon filet with spaghetti sauce.
