So California-recruiter-dude was out of the office today, and rushing home to have a phone call turned into rushing home to get the email saying the phone call would be tomorrow.

In other news, I have just discovered Lists on McSweeney's My favorite has got to be "Hair Salon Names That Would Also Work as Steven Seagal Movies."

My French is just good enough for this part to really scare me:

Ce fervent adepte du bouddhisme livre un 1er album alors qu'il pratique la guitare depuis plus de 20 ans...

I have this picture of him practicing his guitar constantly for 20 years, while somehow incorporating this into meditation or something. Weird.
