Pre-work observations
1. I think there was a protestor outside this morning. Just one. I saw a woman with a sign on the sidewalk outside our old garage, but I was already past her and didn't see what it said. I'd have gone around the block to check it out, but I was running late for a meeting. I hope hope hope it wasn't about the health care changes we announced earlier this week. No, it's not optimal, but I personally am glad to know we're taking the initiative, lest we end up like other retirement systems in the state, and all but cutting coverage.
2. The man who overcompensates for his lost youth by being an obnoxious pervert, wearing far too much heinous cologne and driving what
automat76 would call a "penis car" has gotten a new car. He had, until recently, a bright red corvette, that he liked to park in the most high profile spots in the garage. This morning, it had been replaced by a bright red Audi TT, with his personalized license plate. While not a huge car aficianado, I loved that car when Hugh Grant drove it in About a Boy. He has now sullied that love.
