Antsy.
I want my freaking test grade for my Java class. The prof said they'd be posted by Friday, and it's now Tuesday. I took the test on November 1. I just want to know, because depending on how I did on this, I could have anywhere from a high A to a low C because the test is worth a whole lot of points. If he doesn't post by the end of the day, I'm emailing him.
I'm happy that they are offering signup today for cholesterol tests next month. They canceled last time they were going to do them. I've been veg for 9 years, so my cholesterol should be ok; however, there is a history in my family of people who have high cholesterol that can't be controlled by diet (though I take issue with this, because I'm not certain that my grandmother accurately understands the difference between cholesterol content and fat content). So I'm just curious about how that will turn out.
Saw Kill Bill Vol. I this weekend with
automat76. I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! I've loved all of Quentin Tarantino's films (well, except for From Dusk til Dawn and True Romance, if you even count those) but this one may usurp Jackie Brown as my favorite (Yep, I'm the only person on the planet who likes Jackie Brown better than Pulp Fiction. Not in every way, just in certain ways. Like subtlety.) This one's certainly not subtle, and definitely not for the squeamish. The gore didn't bug me at all really, but the idea of limbs being lopped off with a Katana grated on me after seeing it about 50 times.
Also started reading _The Little Friend_ by Donna Tartt this weekend. I finished Valencia by Michelle Tea (loved it!) and just picked this randomly. It's a little creepy because of a supposed crime at the beginning of the story. I like it.
New Tori Amos album today!!! Well, re-released stuff. I'm going to go see if the new (non-chain?) music store at the mall is open yet at lunch. If not, I must remember to hit Magnolia after work. I'll be down that way anyway because my vintage coat should be back from the dry cleaners today too.
