(no subject)

Oooh. Slightly tipsy. Discovered the goodness that is Grey Goose L'orange this evening. Mmmmm....upscale Tang. Played many many darts with automat76 and ryan_rita. Came home -- they are now at Blazer's, and I should be in bed.

I wish tomorrow weren't a workday. Blah.

My ebayness is out of control now. I think by the end of the week I'll have a whole new Marc Jacobs wardrobe. I'm sad that I missed out on the kickass dress, but I'm not willing to go any higher. I've been so good lately on the clothing shopping front. I deserve some splurge.

Accomplishments for today

-successfully extricated myself from the cookbook project once and for all
-snuck through the new portion of the building and *almost* determined where we'll be moving to
-made it through 4 hours of software architecture meetings without falling asleep
-had pleasant lunch with S & K from old department
-kicked the ass of a migraine without Imitrex
-straightened up living room
-cooked an actual, balanced dinner
-noted that I have kept the bedroom reasonably clean since Saturday
-changed furnace filter (and it definitely needed it!)
-started forcing paperwhite bulbs from gift from STS
-located yarn and patterns
-amassed all knitting needles in one box
-almost completed ribbing on a new sweater for me (I have to give myself time limits on knitting, or else I overdo it and my RSI acts up, otherwise I would have gotten all the ribbing done)

Now I am taking the nightly ritual bubble bath, and reading the next chapter in Home Comforts, which I am so far enjoying much more than I thought, which leads me to believe I need my own copy. That's the danger of the library sometimes.
