Hockey last night was played partially in rain. Nothing like the torrential downpour of our first game, but with thunder and lightning. I was kind of glad it was raining because that meant the sunburn was continually soothed.

Had my first ever deep fried pickle after the game, at the Rusty Bucket, which is a bar in a strip mall in Dublin. They had surprisingly good food and a decent beer selection. I ordered Stella Artois, and we're still trying to figure out what they actually brought me the first time. It was yummy, and sort of fruity, but a lot darker than Stella, so when she brought me the second one, which actually was Stella, I sent it back.

This weekend so far has the perfect mix of stuff to do and free time. Tonight I'm going over to my former boss's house, so the girls from work can eat pasta and drink wine and chat, whcih we don't get to do as much now that we're all in different departments. Then tomorrow night M is getting people together for a cookout. Tomorrow is also the one night of ladyfest that I'd really really like to go to, but the bands are playing from 4pm - 2 am, so I may be able to make some of that.

Other than that, I have to get my house cleaned up, then organize and price all the stuff for the annual Victorian Village Garage Sale next weekend. Last year I had tons of stuff, and made about $100.00 (plus a phantom $20, which we used to buy ourselves dinner) This year, I have a ton of stuff again--less furniture, but more kitchen stuff. Hopefully I'll make a little cash to replenish what I've spent on yarn lately. Plus, I'm hoping to get my dad's father's day gift knitted that day. He requested a pair of Fuzzy Feet after seeing mom's, and I got some pine green lamb's pride to make them the other day.
