I have long [half] joked that my life's goal is to participate in roller derby. automat76 just sent me a flier someone forwarded to her about an all-girl team forming here in Columbus. I am so there. I just joined their Yahoo! group.

Perhaps I'll have an excuse to buy those speed skates I tried on last summer after all. And a use for the protective equipment I bought for my brief stint in dekhockey last year. Hmmmm....

Anyone want to join me?

There's someone on my friend's list who just joined roller derby. It looks like a blast, but I'm too old and too wimpy to do something like that. I'll knit you some sexy fishnets to wear when you make the team though lol!! Check out divalita, she's got some pics posted of her during a couple matches in her journal.
