Because I'm avoiding the actual task of, I don't know, packing?
I came across a pile of photos this evening that I had amassed at some point in an effort to put together some sort of biographical web page. I don't know if it was intended to be a history of my hair or what, but I thought I'd throw them in the scanner and put them up here just for kicks.
I may regret this, especially some of the early photos, but hey, you only live once, right?
This was taken of me about 4 weeks before I graduated college, in our converted frat house dorm. My hair was that color/length for most of my senior year.

This is me bungee jumping in Gatlinburg, TN on spring break my sophomore year of college:

Me eating cake at my parents house, sometime during college when my high school friends got together. I miss that shirt I'm wearing. Denison had the generic mascot of "Big Red" and so we had Clifford the Big Red Dog shirts.

I'm second from the right in this photo. This was my junior year of high school in the musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." While I was not officially the Little Red-Haired Girl, we all agreed I had the hair down.

Halloween my sophomore year of college with D's old girlfriend from high school. I found this Lady Godiva wig at Meijer, and then had to figure out what to be, so I went as Rapunzel.

College Graduation day. That's my roommate K, and D. I think D. looks like a pervy professor in this photo. I've no idea why he isn't in his cap and gown, nor why I'm wearing my sunglasses inside. I had just dyed my hair back to it's natural color the night before, so all day at the ceremonies, no one knew who I was.

This is Halloween circa 1999. Again, I found one prop (a vintage pillbox hat) and proceeded to build and entire outfit around it. I was supposed to be Jackie O. People kept suggesting I was Monica Lewinsky.

automat76 and I in the winter of 1998 or 1999. One of the few photos of me in public in my glasses!

When I worked at the Drexel, we always had to go work the Oscar parties. This year I went all out. This hair is the result of that one icon of mine called "toast" where I've got my hair in curlers. People thought I was supposed to be Annette Bening, but I was just supposed to be fancy. I sold that dress on ebay this week. It was cool, but I'm wearing 6" heels with 1.5" platforms to keep it from dragging the ground in this picture.

Freshman year of college, with the guy I dated through my first two years, in a photo booth. My hair was shaved up under those pigtails. I don't know why I'm being goofy and he's not.
Yes, that's the guy who is a model now. He's in a Gucci sunglasses ad in some of the recent issues of Details and GQ

The last pro photo taken of me. I think this was about my sophomore year of college? My sister looks really really young there. We are both wearing outfits we sewed for 4-H, but it totally wasn't planned. I think there was something in the scanner on this one, because she doesn't have a Cindy Crawford mole.

Have you ever heard me say I was a hair metal chick? Well, here's the proof. I was about 13 in this photo, so it was about 1989. We were having a slumber party and doing each other's hair, makeup and nails. I think I still have that Cinderella T-shirt I'm wearing in that photo. The big photo of the guy behind me was the birthday card the girls got for me.

Senior year of college, at the formal. Same shoes as the Oscar photo, oddly enough. That's E. who now lives in Australia (I think) and D.L. who I'll be seeing in Chicago a week from now.

Sophomore year of college, at the formal again. With K., and D's old girlfriend. I'm wearing the dress I sewed for my senior high school prom, and yes, I had dyed my hair to match the dress.
