Where's Sister's Chicken :)

Westerville's full of this. The bank at the end of our street used to be Friendly's, there's a bank near

slinksgirl that used to be Sister's Chicken, then something else, then Schlotsky's, and to be different, there's a Starbucks that used to be a bank. 5/3, to be specific.

Yeah, make sure you get the Mad Greek on Broad Street. It used to be a Taco Bell too.

The bank that used to be Schlotzky's in Westerville at the end of my street was like 9 different things when I was growing up. It is cursed. It had as many transformations as Whisky Dick's. That place must have some wicked evil feng shui.

I think we could send them photos of just what the Starbucks in C-bus used to be. There's a former 5/3 Starbucks in Bexley, the former Isley's in German Village, and the former Rally's and Friendly's in Grandview.

I may take my camera out this weekend. :-)

I totally forgot about Sister's. Do you remember G.D. Ritzy's??

There were flaming out as soon as I moved here fifteen years ago. I remember seeing one or two. Don't forget Rax.

This was funny especially since a lot of the photos are from Toronto. My favorite is kembass cleaners (it used to be embassy cleaners they just blacked out the y and added a k to the front).

Yeah, the only one I found that seems to be giving Kembass a run for it's money is a former Texaco that became a business named "Exaco". Wow.

For some reason I was thinking you'd been arond here longer than that. I just barely remember GDR because my grandparents for some reason *loved* taking us there when they brought us to Columbus to look at downtown lights at Christmastime.

I know there is a Gyro shop ex-Taco Bell near Wilson and Broad.

Yeah, they didn't even bother to add a letter!! They could have become Mexaco or Hexaco or Exacok... think of the possibilities. :)

Are they gonna turn that Lee's market into a Walgreens :)

There's a beauty salon in Bexley that used to be an IHOP.
