Obsession with Project Runway + better understanding of pattern construction since I've been knitting so much + need for short skirts for roller derby and not being able to find them in stores = me itching to sew in a big way, more than I have in years.

My sewing machine is at the house. Wonder if I can get to my fabrics/patterns/notion in the storage unit?? I may have to go check tonight. I feel confident that I could figure out how to draft a pattern for a cute mini-skirt without too much trouble. Right??

You could always just knit that one from Knitty, with the flames on the bottom. That would be hot.

Yeah, I actually plan to do that. But sewing one will be way faster, and I need one NOW! NOW!!
