Global warming, I tell you

Last night, I walked home from a study break at Betty's and marveled at the fact that three days before Thanksgiving, I was traipsing around in a t-shirt, jeans and a thin knit jacket, not even as thick as a sweatshirt.

This morning, I assumed it would remain as warm as it was, so I left the house with my leather jacket rather than anything heavier.

By 10 am, it was snowing. Hard.

I think my plans for lunchtime errands have been thwarted by the weather gods. I don't even have gloves with me!!!

Yes you are! It's sooooooo cold out. I'm lucky to have friends who bring me warm weather accessories, otherwise, I think I would have lost an ear earlier (stainless steel being an excellent conductor for cold and all.)

I don't think I've ever had one get infected, but I definitely know the OWWWWWW! Earring caught in knit cap!!!! thing all too well.
