Just lost an earring - down an auto-flush toilet, which whisked it away!

Actually, that's what inspired me to wear earrings in the first place (that, and our conversation about silver tarnish).

These were cool earrings too! I'm thinking I can make a necklace out of the survivor.

I wouldn't have been quite so miffed about the herring. Or at the very least, wouldn't have been having the "what can I use to extract that from there" thought in my head, when the auto-flush went off. :-)
