Um...do we evacuate?

I love it when I think I have something medically wrong with me, and it turns out to be something mechanical.

Last week, it was when my monitor went bad and I thought I was having a migraine aura, until someone else confirmed that the pixels were jiggling.

Just now, I thought the Vioxx I took for me knee earlier was making me dizzy (which it does sometimes) until I heard someone else say "Is the floor shaking?" It was shaking hard enough that some of our monitors were moving and my chair was physically moving.

Earthquake? Hmmmm....

Maybe it was something shaky besides an earthquake . . . or maybe it'll show up soon.

Thanks for this link--I was looking for stuff and couldn't find anything that got any more specific than by continent.

And it's happened again. This building is only a year old, so we're all still not quite convinced that it's stable. :-)

Very strange indeed. Maybe someone was doing heavy work in or near your building. At least you got confirmation that it wasn't just you.

Quite possible, but maybe more scary than an earthquake--we're on the 8th floor, so apart from someone driving something into the building, I'm not sure what that would be! :-)
