Yarn!

I think I've just realized I'm crazy, because I have more yarn that I could knit up in a year or two. I think it's time to stop, trade, etc.

Here's the bamboo yarn

and teh wool

I bought this weekend.

There are more stash photos and a couple of my in progress projects here. Now I'll be able to look up what I have when I'm out looking for patterns!

yarn made from bamboo! i bet i wouldn't be allergic to that! i'll have to look for it. what does it feel like? does it shed?

It's a knitted yarn (and I think you can kind or see this in the photo) so the yarn itself is sort of tubular. In the ball, it feels like a "crunchy" silk.

Here's where the snag might come though: it's marketed by the company that makes soy silk. I don't know if they are the manufacturer though, so I'm not sure if there would be any sort of cross-contamination or not, (or if that's even an issue with yarn?) They also make yarns from corn and milk.
