Because I like funny misspellings, especially on menus...

I just noticed something funny on this lunch menu.

Mescaline Salad – fresh greens, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, onion and croutons. Add a scoop of Chicken or Tuna salad $1.75

I've never hallucinated after eating a salad before, but that might just do it.

I don't see funny ones often (just basic misspellings) but I do remember a Chinese restaurant near me that served "peeper beef" for the longest time.

I always liked the "fried wantons" at my favorite Thai restaurant in Chicago

people seem to have trouble saying "mandarin chicken salad" where i work, so we get some amusing ones, like "manchurian chicken salad".

Actually that's not a misspelling, it's a real item. :)

I didn't know those sorts of things were legal in Ohio? :-)
