I have long [half] joked that my life's goal is to participate in roller derby. automat76 just sent me a flier someone forwarded to her about an all-girl team forming here in Columbus. I am so there. I just joined their Yahoo! group.

Perhaps I'll have an excuse to buy those speed skates I tried on last summer after all. And a use for the protective equipment I bought for my brief stint in dekhockey last year. Hmmmm....

Anyone want to join me?

My friend Les and I tried for awhile to find people interested in starting one, but couldn't find anyone but ourselves. So I move away and the NEXT DAY someone starts one???? Sheesh.

Aw, think of it as being ahead of the curve. (That's what I told myself when everyone told me I dressed weird in junior high, then they all dressed that way by high school.)
