I have long [half] joked that my life's goal is to participate in roller derby. automat76 just sent me a flier someone forwarded to her about an all-girl team forming here in Columbus. I am so there. I just joined their Yahoo! group.

Perhaps I'll have an excuse to buy those speed skates I tried on last summer after all. And a use for the protective equipment I bought for my brief stint in dekhockey last year. Hmmmm....

Anyone want to join me?

There's someone on my friend's list who just joined roller derby. It looks like a blast, but I'm too old and too wimpy to do something like that.
