More Aches and Pains...

So, two days ago, I started noticing that my right foot hurt. Eventually, I determined that it felt like the heel bone (the calculus!--I remember something from high school health class) feels as if it is bruised. So I've been staying away from high heels this week, and trying to keep all the weight off my right heel.

I have no idea how I could have done this. It started hurting when I thought of going running, but I hadn't actually done it yet. I should have brought comfier shoes to wear to class tonight, but I think I'll live.

In other news, someone at work gave me a copy of the Desert Sessions 9 & 10. It's a lovely PJ Harvey fix while waiting for her new album (this fall? I think?) I'm rockin' out now.

I have a math quiz this evening. I probably should have studied, but the prof is giving us formula sheets, so I figure if I fail with that much help, then I deserve to. Plus, this class doesn't count towards the CS GPA. That has to be at least 3.2 if I want to use these classes as a jump to the MS program. Sheesh. Why do I worry about such things?

Am having lunch tomorrow with K & S from work, as a late bday treat for K. I hope this Barcelona experience is better than the last one.

Forgot to note before: after some research, am now trying feverfew capsules for the migraines. It said it will take a month or two to notice a difference, but I figured it would be good to give it a chance. I'll try anything!!!!

i think i'll look at comfy shoes tonight. i mean, *all* my shoes are comfy, due to the assbuttmonkey nature of my feet, but i need new sneakers.

Damn. I think you're right. Ummmm...but I did remember calculus in math class tonight, so somehow, it all comes full circle. :-)
