I came in this morning to find a valentine's card with a Dum-dum sucker inside on my desk. It turned out to be from our employee events committee. Gag me.
I just now popped the lollipop in my mouth, despite reading the label to find the flavor was "Artificial Chocolate."
It tasted like a weird mix of flowers, banana and root beer. Ick. Into the trash it went.
And now I shall go in search of real chocolate.

I like Godiva, especially the raspberry in dark chocolate bars, but they don't generally do dark chocolate dark enough for me. I really like Green and Black's and Cloud Nine's vegan stuff. Or the double dark (I don't remember what it's called, but it's something like 77% cacao) from Dagoba. The only milk chocolate I will really go out of my way for is the Dagoba Chai bar.
Hmmmm...upon re-reading that, perhaps I'm a chocolate snob!!!

I'm right there with you for the dark chocolate. I just don't have anyplace other than Godiva in Tuttle mall that's close to get a 'good' chocolate fix. So I end up settling for Graters most often. I'll have to track down this place you're getting Vegan Chocolate from. I'm always looking for new nitch places just haven't gone on a chocolate lovers hunt for a while. I'll have to band together with Tiffany and Amanda two of my good friends wives and see if we can't track some of these places down.

Pure Imagination is the place that only sells chocolates, next to Firdous (middle eastern place) and the kitchen supply store.

*Yes, I've watched far too much "Unwrapped" on the Food Network.
