pixiecrinkleI'm utterly exhausted. I really really considered not getting out of bed this morning. Actually, I considered it last night, while we were still on the Pennsylvania-Ohio border.

automat76 is back from Spain, with many tales of adventure with spandita, who we still miss very much.
And STS and I hit Ikea. I went more nuts than he did, but got several things I really did need, like a green locker cabinet for storing yarn and fabrics upstairs, a rolling storage cart to organize my current projects (haven't decided whether this goes in the living room, or up in the office, and a corner shelf to use in the dead space behind my kitchen table, on which to store various kitchen appliances when not in use.
I also got all sorts of small items. An apron, some candleholders, 2 small lamps to improve the dimness in the living room, and the bamboo plants I've wanted for the bathroom. And light bulbs. I love Ikea's florescent tube bulbs.
Shopping has taken it's toll on me though. Now I'm buried under a pile of mockups and defects here at work. I think I can get caught up by the end of the day, but I'm not for certain.
