Saw The Company this evening at the Drexel with K (S had to run home). I liked it a lot. K was expecting more of a story, and honestly, so was I, but once I realized I wasn't getting that, I liked what I did get. Robert Altman is good at the "sit back and let it unfold" sort of directing, and this particular scheme (go into a ballet company and just shoot a story within the day to day) works well with his style. And the dancing is sooooo cool. If you don't like ballet, this is not a movie for you. There's lots of shots that are basically sitting the camera in front of hte stage and watching.

I liked it. A lot. The guy who plays Neve Campbell's boyfriend is hot. And Malcolm MacDowell is hilarious, in a very restrained manner.
