Donnie Darko to be re-released

Yay!

This week is going slowly. I'm doing very detailed, boring stuff at work (taking the breath sounds and background noise out of audio tracks).

I did get my hockey gear last night after work. First game is tommorrow night. I'm not sure how this will go.

Also got one more square of my cousin's wedding afghan knitted. I'm going to have so much yarn left over once this is done. Like entire unused balls. I'm not sure if the pattern's written that way so you spend more money on yarn, or if I'm way off on something. If I am, at least I'm consistent. And my gauge appears correct.

Tried to cast on the tank top I'm making again with an aluminum circ rather than the steel one I was using (thanks [livejournal.com profile] serranian. So far, so good, but by the time I got 192 stitches on the needle, it was after midnight, and I was way too tired to attempt the lace edging. I had also considered starting a pair of Magic Stripes socks, but it turned out that I need a set of size 2 needles (tiny!). I'm bidding on a set on ebay so it will be another week or two before starting those.

Now is probably the time for us to start petitioning the Drexel to give it a run once they get a shot at getting a print of the film. I worked there a few years ago, and can already hear them rationalizing why it won't do any business. :-(

Good idea! What can I do? Should I write them a letter asking that they host DD? Talk to the manager?

I'd hate to miss this when it comes out!

I'd say write a letter, or send an email via their website (www.drexel.net). You might include the link to the article too. Honestly, when I worked there, we didn't pay a whole lot of attention, but once in a while, someone's suggestion would be well-timed and it would turn out.

Of course, letters from multiple people would prove demand. :-)
