Some of us are looking for a good idea for the Doo-dah Parade this year. If you aren't familiar with a doo-dah parade, it's a crazy parade where people dress up like whatever, and create satiric, or funny or otherwise odd floats. Some friends of mine do this every year. In fact, B&J got engaged during the parade two years ago, while making fun of the local "Commit to be Fit" campaign. Their float was "Commit to be Fat" and B was dressed as the "gravy fairy".

The same group of people were on the cover of the agenda section of The Other Paper with their "Cameron Mitchell for Mayor" float (for those of you not from central Ohio, Cameron Mitchell is a local restauranteur). So they feel compelled to top themselves.

So give us a topic to skewer. I'm not up on local scandals right now. There's the OSU basketball thing, but none of us are into sports really. There's the smoking ban, and someone came up with an idea dealing with Cirque du Soleil, but otherwise we're blanking. It could be something national too, it's just got to be good.

The parade is Sunday. Help me! Feed my brain!
