pixiecrinkleSo, I have a free plane ticket burning a hole in my pocket. It's on Southwest Airlines and it must be used by November of this year.
I had been saving it to possibly go to Chicago, but I didn't get called for a Jeopardy audition, and now my friend who I would have visited there has moved back to Ohio. Then I was saving it to go to Coachella, but that was way too expensive.
I'd love to go to Kripalu again, but funds are not quite that plentiful.
I don't mind going someplace by myself, but I do need someplace with affordable hotels in that case. I like going on vacations that can involve museums, hanging out in local places, walking around cities, and the like. I'm not terribly outdoorsy and I'm not into the ultra-touristy stuff. I'd rather go somewhere with good public transport, as renting a car makes the price go up really quickly.
In recent years, I've been to NYC, Chicago, Seattle, Portland (OR) and St. Louis. I'm not averse to returning to any of those though, except maybe the first two, if I'm going solo.
Suggestions?
