Carpal tunnel + bowling = bad idea.

Wow. Took the car in for its 30,000 mile service today (yes, I've had it for 5 years--I hate to drive) and have decided that I may change its name from "Little Black Stealth Car" to "Big Money Sucking Machine." New brakes, new muffler, and now it's not making that scary whistling noise like it was on the way to the bowling alley last night, but I'm a little further in debt. Sheesh. The funny part is, my appointment was tomorrow, but I took the car in before work and didn't even realize until after they called with the price. They didn't even mention it. I hope I didn't screw up anyone's day too terribly.

I have just succeeded in putting way too much eye makeup on (but, hey, I'm going to Cirque du Soleil, right?) and now, while I am pleased with my sparkliness, I am remembering how glitter likes to stick to contact lenses. Perhaps I'll grab a new pair before the show. Don't want to be missing everything 'cause it's like I'm looking through frosted glass now.
