Feb. 23rd, 2004 02:59 pmMy body hurts. I can't figure out why, except that I must have overexerted myself cleaning yesterday. I really did get a lot done. I got the kitchen in fairly good order, and beat all my rugs, then vacuumed everything, including the upholstery. Some of the chairs need another going over though. I did scrub the shower, and the bathroom and kitchen floors by hand, which must be what's caused all this soreness. How odd.
Watched the Sex & the City finale last night at STS's. I think they did a nice job of ending the series on a hopeful note, without caving and marrying everyone off in a fairytale way. Gorged myself on cupcakes and pizza, along with the requisite cosmo. I haven't lost a pound on this stinking South Beach thing, but I also haven't been very good at not cheating. I'm thinking I just need to get back into the yoga groove. I did have someone tell me I looked like I'd been working out earlier. I think it's just the outfit I have on though. I love going through my closet and finding something I haven't worn in forever. It's like shopping, without laying out the bucks! In this case, it's a DKNY charcoal sweater knit jumper that I bought on ebay about 2 years ago and only wore once. Hooray!
I thought today was going to be ridiculously busy after this weekend, but it's not been that bad. Most of the defects I'm getting are things I fixed this morning. This sucks, because I'm thinking I could have gone on vacation after all. Grrrrr....I suppose I'm not psychic for a reason though.
I think I'm going to go delete myself from all those friendster/ringo/myspace sites tonight. Friendster I never use, and it's impossible to figure out how to do anything, ringo just got bought out by the spam happy emode, and myspace has done nothing for me except creep me out. Some gross dude from Chillicothe has apparently made it his goal to get every bisexual woman in the central Ohio area to friend him. I declined him a couple of times a few months ago and today he sent a third request. Hello? Ick.
