Weird dream!

What do you get when you watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Secret Window back to back, then go home to bed, only to be awakened at 3:30 am by some sort of drunken discussion on your patio regarding how your neighbor can't get into her apartment?

Weird weird dream!!!!

It started out that I thought someone was trying to get into my house, and I couldn't figure out why or who, so I called 911. Only I had a terribly time getting my phone keypad unlocked because my hands were shaking, and then I kept dialing "911," but "511" kept showing up. So by this point I'm downstairs in my kitchen, where there were 2 windows (there's only one in real life) and automat76 was cutting the screen on the one that doesn't exist in real life with a box cutter. Only it must have been a very dull box cutter because she was having a terrible time. For some reason, I knew she was on the side of the "bad guys" and wouldn't let her in. I closed the window and by that point the police arrived and she fled. They went all through the house and drove me off somewhere. I knew I'd seen a man outside, but couldn't give a description. But I didn't want to say anything about automat76 being there until I knew why she was doing this. Very strange.


I must get laundry done today. Tonight is Art for Life, and tomorow is ICFD: Brown Sugar. I need to make a trip to Wild Oats. I haven't been grocery shopping in months and they are having a big sale. I'm just so unmotivated.

I did get the very last CD ripped to my PC this morning, so now my iPod will have all my music. And it's only half full!!!! Something must be done about this. :-)

Baby sweater...done!

Got the baby sweater and hat done for Jack, Sambot's new little brother. I think the sweater looks a little bit like a classic chanel suit jacket in this photo. Hmmmmm....maybe I can make myself one of those--hadn't thought of knitting one, but it's not a bad idea.

I'm glad to have this done because the pattern was super boring--straight knitting (on both sides) of various sizes of rectangles.

The trim is single crocheted. It was supposed to be single crocheted together, but seeing as how I didn't know how to crochet prior to this, I decided it was going to look better if I seamed it up, then added trim. That way there wasn't trim in places I didn't want it anyway.

First accomplishment of the weekend!! Now back to doing dishes, then off to laundry, before tonight's volunteering stint.
