(no subject)

I have a very ugly green bruise on my forearm that matches my shirt. I noticed it Sunday, when I kept feeling a large knot in my arm. I have no clue what I actually did to cause such a knot. It could have been caused by Saturday night's foray into citronella fire baton twirling, but I don't recall any bumps.

Burns would have been a more likely injury. Then again, my legs are also covered in bruises. However I attribute these to falling out of the cubbyhole in my closet while checking for plaster damage during Sunday night's torrential downpours.

Fun.

Two more squares done!

The second check stitch, and the first of the 6 embossed leaf with stripes blocks are now done.

That leaves 9 blocks, plus border and embroidery to finish in roughly 12 weeks.

I have at least two other gift projects to do in there as well, along with a tank top I'd like to wear this summer.
