Weird Disturbing Dream -- again
Aug. 27th, 2004 09:38 amOkay, I don't know what's wrong with me lately. I go to bed exhausted, then can't fall asleep, then I have a night of odd dreams, and when I wake up, I don't feel rested at all, and end up sleeping late. Grrrr...
Last night's odd dream: I went home (and home was mom & dad's old house) to see my sister who was visiting. When I got there, she was sitting in a car in the driveway with two people from high school: the girl from my class who no one liked, and another girl who was in band with both of us, but who neither of us was close too. I walked up and she filled me in on what she'd been telling them.
It seems she was pregnant, and she and her fiance decided to "let" mom and dad raise the child because they weren't ready to have one yet. (I believe she was also smoking a cigarette.) I was livid, and made her get out of the car. I told her how our parents shouldn't have to be saddled with the responsibility, and she'd better find some other solution to the problem because it wasn't fair to anyone and she was getting off with no responsibility. I was soooo angry and kept going on and on and she just kept brushing it off with "Oh well." It was like talking to the 13-year-old version of her.
This whole thing was just too strange. Another one of those "so real you don't immediately realize it was a dream" dreams.
