Oct. 11th, 2004 08:44 pmI did it! I actually did the first part of my run/walk program (I'm easing up to full time running) without cheating. Well, I didn't mean to cheat last week, but it's so much easier to not cheat accidentally when using the split timer on my cell phone, than it is when using my analog watch.
Okay, so out of the twenty minutes, only 4 were actually spent running, but we're starting at zero here.
Am still not sure about the fit of my shoes. I'm going to change back to the other ones next time, and try relacing these and see if I can make a difference. They may actually just be too small though.
Also got three sweaters to unravel at the thrift store tonight. Nearly had a whole pile of angora to do too, but it was so lightweight I didn't think I'd keep my sanity if I tried to do that. So I got some wacky stuff instead, and a men's medium pine green 100% wool worsted weight sweater to unravel. That's definitely enough to do something for me. Hooray!
Now to the shower. Sixty degrees or not, you'll still sweat out there.
