I've heard much on the l;ocal radio about the American elections, like that it's going to be the biggest turn out of registered voters in a long time, and that the youth vote might be crucial in some States.

In Australia, we voted about 3 weeks ago, and the incumbrant government was returned with an increased majority. Then again, we don't have a Presidential system (just a Prime Minister), and the issues seemed to interest rates rather than the war in Iraq et al.

Whatever the outcome, I'm sure we'll all bear the consequences for years to come.
