So does Canada have a generally acceptable date to kick off the "season"? Here in the US I think Thanksgiving is the unofficial start to the retail season because the retail industry has promoted the next day as the biggest Christmas shopping day of the year. Does Canada have something similar? Or is everything blissfully better there? ;-)
