pixiecrinkleThe girls from work and I had our holiday lunch today. Went to Lindey's where I decided since I'm giving up fish again after the end of the year, I should finally get the lobster bisque. Wow!!! It was heavenly.
Everyone liked their flower pins. More than I expected. I can breathe a sigh of relief now. Got them chocolates from Schokolade--the new chain chocolate shop in the cap over 670. I should have gone to Pure Imagination in the North Market, but they do make everything on site there, and they had champagne truffles so this was an ok decision I think.
From E., I now have on my desk a bank reading "shoe fund." Fabulous!
Also received Last Minute Knitted Gifts. I already have this book, but it was super cool that S. picked it out for me--it is my fave knitting book. I felt almost guilty for not telling her I already had it, but it was a perfect gift!
K went for the "conglomeration gift" as she called it--personalized notepads, cool magnets, really awesome luggage tags (which match my luggage--we're not sure how she did that) and this contraption that allows you to sample the insides of chocolates without biting into them. And one of the beaded ID tag necklaces that everyone wears around here--I finally fit in!!!
