pixiecrinkleI forgot the one good thing that came out of having to return home this morning. When I drove around the corner from the alley to Wilber, I saw the single fattest robin I've ever seen. He was about the size of a softball, I swear, with his bright red chest all puffed up from the wind. He was just sitting on a tree brand, bobbing along with the wind, and was only about 3 feet from me in the car.
It's times like that I wish I remembered to keep my camera with me at all times. It was a cool image.
