Really? Cause I saw him open for Tori Amos and was actually impressed when I didn't expect to be. But I didn't get why anyone would buy an album, because I wasn't sure how his schtick would would work non-live. What's your gripe? :-)
One good thing about moving here is that you'll get a good chance to see Rufus W. -- the gay boys like our fair city, and he's no exception. Especially since last time he played here (with Ben Folds) he sang a song that was particularly nasty to the anti-gay folks, and a rainbow actually appeared in the sky at that exact moment. It was beyond strange.
