I think it more likely that they'll abandon their own product and go with Dreamweaver. I use Fireworks a bit, and it'll be interesting to see what they'll do with that.
More of a worry - Corel bought out Jasc! What's going to happen to Paint Shop Pro?!
Corel bought out Jasc! What's going to happen to Paint Shop Pro?!
Really? See I'm inclined to think that's a good thing, as I loved loved loved WordPerfect, and just don't get to use it anymore. I had feared that Corel would be out of business, since Word/MS Office has taken over the world.
But I've actually never used PSP though--I'm a PhotoShop girl myself--so that will be interesting to see.
A friend of mine had a good point about the Adobe/MM thing. She pointed out that Adobe's big draw as of late has been Acrobat/pdf technologies, so having them in charge of dev tools like Dreamweaver and Flash could mean a lot of new ways for those technologies to interact.
We shall see. I just hope this doesn't have anything to do with the delay for getting my new software!!! :-)
