Yeah, it's definitely that too, but I'm thinking more about something that conveys the idea that it's disrespectful to the flag/country to cut up the flag and make it into stuff.
I could swear this kind of thing is addressed in flag codes/etiquette, but my brain's just not landing on it right now.
