Yep. High Fidelity was shot in Chicago (despite the fact the book takes place in England), but much further south than we were. This place was in Evanston, where Northwestern is.
Have you read HF? If not, I recommend it to you highly. I think you'd identify with the guys in the book, um...a whole lot.
