Installed CD burner. Check.
Tried to install RAM - Guy sold me wrong type. No big deal, will just have to exchange.
Burned backups of stuff. Check.
Installed Windows XP. Check.
Installed firewall. Check.
Installed Netscape. Won't work.
Found workaround for Netscape. Check.

Then I realized. I didn't back up any of my email, email addresses, favorites, etc. So they are gone. Because I physically had to delete them for the workaround, I can't even blame the corporate monolith that is Microsoft.

I'm not terribly worried about emails, apart from a few things, but I don't really keep a lot of email around. The addresses though.....I guess I'll be sending my address book home from work, and going through my phone, and rolodex, and all that. I know they aren't all there though, that's the thing. I can't believe I didn't even thing to back those things up.

At least this means I can check "Clean out bookmarks files" off of my list for January.

That's it for tonight. I'm brushing my teeth and going to a party!
