Okay, I just lost a whole post, which was huge, because somehow my IE window closed. Grrrrr...

I have not been sleeping well lately. I have this grand plan to try to get up earlier in the mornings, but if I can't go to sleep earlier, that's not going to happen. I've pretty much realized at this point in my life that I need to get 8 hours of sleep. I used to be able to function on much less, but not anymore. Lately, I've been going to bed and lying there awake for an hour or more. It may be too much caffeine too late in the day. Last night I had a cappucino after dinner with STS at Giuseppe's (yum), which may have been the culprit.

The knee is much better now. It's several yucky shades of yellow and blackish purple, but it's not swollen. It hurt quite a bit last night once I went to bed, but it's otherwise ok. I even wore the heels which were the culprits today!

I am still having coughing fits off and on. I am so over phlegm, and ready to be done with this.

We are finally moving to the new building tomorrow at work, up to the floor where the rest of our department is. The actual location and date of our move changed about 6 times earlier this week. But it's official now, and I'm actually completely packed. So much so that I just had to go digging into a box to find my headphones.

I must get my Kripalu trip planned this weekend. I have a feeling if I don't I'm going to end up not taking it because this next project is going to swamp all of us. I'm going to have to stand firm if anyone challenges me on this though. I don't think two months time is any short notice for a few days off, even if it is in the middle of user testing.

Anyone know where I can find a small entertainment center? I'm looking for something to go in my small living room that will fit my medium sized TV and bookshelf type stereo, along with a very small VCR (DVD is built in to the TV). I found something on sale at Functional Furnishings last week, that wasn't out of my price range, but it was very open, and while it looked great in the store, I think it would overwhelm my living room.

Ani Difranco is playing Saturday night at Denison. I found this out yesterday, and as of yet, they are not offering tickets to anyone other than students, faculty and staff. I sent a pleading alum email to the events person, and have not heard back yet. They are supposed to release any left over tickets sometime today, so hopefully she'll email back. I'm going to keep calling the voicemail number all day long too just to check. The first time I ever saw Ani was a college show, at Oberlin, while I was at Denison. She played in their chapel to about 200 people, and it was incredible.

I think I may skip going out tonight, or at least will go late, in order to play catch up at home. I haven't kept up with my organizing plan all that well this week, so I need to get some little stuff cleaned up before I tackle another room this weekend.

I also need to work on my friend J's website this weekend. She's started a custom historical bridal & costuming business in Chicago and I promised her I'd do this a while ago. She sent me all her graphics right before the holidays, so I need to get it done. I have a couple styles mocked up for her, so I'll get those uploaded this weekend, and have her let me know what she likes. Generating the rest of the site shouldn't take that long. I love Dreamweaver templates.

Okay, back to work.
