I have overdone it again. My nose is feeling remarkably well, and is only sore when it's due to be soaked in salt water (a feat in and of itself). My ear however, is another story. A mere jewelry change and it's acting like it just got pierced. This piercing is at least 6 years old!! The ring was slightly larger, though not an entire gauge. It's not happy with me. So it's getting treated like it's brand new as well. To think I'd considered getting a new hole in my other ear too. I'd be in bad shape.
And I have bowling arm from bowling Sunday night. Which wouldn't have been so bad, but the square I'm working on for my cousin's wedding gift is seed stitch, which given my rather unorthodox method of knitting requires a lot of arm movement. That's what I get for bowling with a 10 pound ball. That's huge for wussy little me. (I hit 140 though!)
I got the first 6 rows of edging done on honeymoon last night. Also an arm intensive stitch pattern. I keep finding myself with a death grip on these tiny little needles. I've not worked with something so small (#6) for quite some time. And I screwed up somewhere but I've decided it's on the back, so I'm not ripping it out. The bag I'm working on from Stitch & Bitch is on the same size needles and I have the same death grip with it.
I keep getting horrifically bored working on these movies here at work. I'm making myself take a lunch today, which means I'll need to stay later, but I need it for my sanity.
