Another crappy morning

pixiecrinkleToday's included waking up with a splitting headache, then breaking my brand new shoe.
I was so excited to wear the MJ pumps today. I pretty much never wear slingbacks, because they make my feet look longer, but these were high enough heels that they actually seemed to make my feet look smaller. I put the shoes on, went downstairs and got my bags for work, then felt the back of the shoe slide off my foot. I thought to myself "Maybe that's why I don't wear slingbacks--I can' walk in them. Hope I don't break my neck today!"
Then I reached down to discover the shoe was actually broken. Sniff. I loved them so! But now they are going back to the store. I guess that solves the problem of guilt over so much money spent. :-(
