So, Thursday night, I ran a lot during hockey, and for the first time ever was sore from it. Then Friday, walked around arts fest for about three hours, then came home and walked around the ShoNo some. Then moved five carloads of garage sale stuff to [livejournal.com profile] automat76's house. By yesterday morning I was fairly sore (though my arm feels much better now!).

After the garage sale (made $85! met [livejournal.com profile] calledmara! got rid of *all* the extra yarn! only had one carload to take back home!) I was still feeling sore, but ok. [livejournal.com profile] ryan_rita, [livejournal.com profile] automat76 and I decided to walk to arts fest. That's right walk *to* arts fest. It's probably a little over a mile or so, then we walked around the fest, then we walked back. I ate utter junk. First a falafel pita, then a huge bowl of cherry cobbler (that made the filling I suspect of being loose hurt from the sweetness). By the time we walked home, my ankles were doing that weird thing where I have trouble balancing. Watched crappy VH1 shows for a while, then went home.

My neighbor was outside with some friends on our shared patio, and they were still out there when I went to bed after a long hot bath. I was lying in bed cracking up. It was still early (around midnight) so I didn't mind them being out there at all, so I was very amused. They were playing what they called the "phone game." You go through your cell phone's phone book and find out how many numbers of people you've slept with are in your phone. Whoever won had nine. (I played along, and had a paltry 3.) I ended up falling asleep after they randomly dialed a mystery number in Phoenix out of someone's phone.

Woke up late this morning, and only got out of bed when the lawn mowing started. Then found out hockey isn't until 2pm!!! Hooray! So that gives me time to empty my car, and maybe go sell some of the random things to Half Price, and figure out which stuff to put on ebay, and which stuff to donate.

What a full weekend. And I still have half a day left!

Yes! Jim's sales tactics finally paid off about 2:00 or so. The guy who bought it promised to give it "a good home" and the girl with him said "a good home" was slang for "house full of drunks." :-)

another young man, earlier in the day, correctly IDed it as a homer simpson donut. i think, too, that it'll be most delighted in a household of duff fans!

note to self: hold yard events more often -- there's a lot to be seen from the "royal balcony." ;-p
