pixiecrinkleSo, the car got one more trip to the dealer. I realized how mellow I've truly become when it took about 3 hours to work up the "Amy gets bitchy" face/voice. So they don't concede that they should have noticed that the pipe was ready to fall off, but I'm going to write a complaint letter to the service manager on this still. They did fix it today. Seems they used the wrong clamps to hold the muffler on. Okay....whatever.
Mom and dad are coming up for my bday next week and we're going to Lindey's. I'm running out of places every year because they don't like the same kinds of foods as me. I took them for sushi once, and mom ate it with a fork, then didn't admit to me that she hated it for another year. Then last year, they refused to go to Indian Oven, just because there was goat on the menu. I tried to explain that no one was going to force them to eat goat, certainly not me, but it didn't fly. I need to call mom tonight and fnd out if grandma and grandpa are coming. Not that I really want to have the "So, do you have a boyfriend" conversation, but....
Some of us may hit the State Fair this weekend. It's soooooo odd for me to go to that with city folk, what with having been an 11 year 4-H'r and all. Sheesh I'm a geek.

Date: 2003-08-08 11:38 pm (UTC)ooh...i didn't realize you were very veggie...i used to be...for a coupla years, and i really liked it, but alas and alak...i live with carnivores, and for me it wasn't a huge deal, so now i eat meat sometimes...and definitely cheese and eggs...so yeah...i *used* to be vegan, and now i'm not. bleh...
