So I'm spell checking a document here at work, and Word suggested "oppressor" as an alternate for the URL of my company's web page.

Actually, we have the opposite problem. Everyone blathers about the importance of internal communication, then nothing trickles down to the lowly in positions like mine. I didn't even know my boss was on vacation this week until yesterday!

interesting. sounds a lot like b&n, where the part times are expected to know everything but are told less :)

I don't think I'd mind the situation I'm in now, but I used to report to a director (like second tier leadership) and she told us everything, including stuff she wasn't supposed to. So now I feel demoted, even though I made a lateral move.
