Jul. 27th, 2004 09:26 amI do not feel rested.
Book club was lovely last night. We read Pride and Prejudice and everyone loved it and only one person hadn't finished it yet. The house we were at was awesome--a house in German Village that was decorated much the way I would -- 1950s frigidaire in the living room, food on the air hockey table in the dining room and an amazing kitchen. We spent more time talking about bad dates than the actual book, but eventually we were able to relate "It's Just Lunch" to the opening line, in which Austen puts forth that a rich successful man must be wife-shopping. We also learned that about 80% of us have a male friend who is known as "Dirty" and they are not the same guy.
I did not feel so hot on the way home. I am beginning to think I should not eat fish after all. I need to track what I've eaten before these "episodes". I had a tuna sandwich yesterday for lunch. Then again, it could be my hormones continually adjusting to the period every three months birth control thing.
