So Friday, I went to the The Aveda Institute and got a and a and pedicure. (That mani photo shows off the ring I got at Lazarus' closing sale too! Grandma's always said I should be a hand model.)

Wow, your hands are *gorgeous*. I will never, ever be a hand model.. my nails are crappy no matter *what* I do, and my skin looks ollld for a 26 year old. :) BTW, the haircut is also faboo. :D

I think the only reason my hands look okay now, is that in junior high, I was determined to have better looking hands than my best friend (we were highly competitive) so I was constantly giving myself manicures -- this was my first time for having someone else do it for me though!

Ha. I have a hard time taking smiling photos of myself. My contacts make me blink when the flash happens, so I tend to look like I'm winking, or have a weird crooked expression.
